Board Decisions Posted
The Broadband Deployment Board (BDB) has published all of the decisions for the Presentation and Minimum Requirements Review meetings that took place on March 14, 15 and 22. Board decisions can be found on the Grant Awards page of our website.
One application has yet to be reviewed. This review will take place on Friday, March 31. Check our calendar for updates.
Appeals
Application Appeals: For appeals of any approval or denial of an application, the complete Appeal Form must be received by Board staff within seven (7) days of the written decision being posted on the Board’s webpage, per the Board Appeal Policy.
Appeals of all Other Decisions: For appeals of any other Board decision, including right of first refusal decisions, the complete Appeal Form must be received by Board staff within seven (7) days of the decision being made by the Board (typically by a vote of the Members), per the Board Appeal Policy.
Aggrieved Party: Per the Board Appeal Policy, an appellant must be one of the following:
- An Applicant for a broadband grant who has been denied a grant award, due to a Board determination that an application does not meet minimum requirements or upon the Board’s decision not to award following review of award criteria.
- An Applicant for a broadband grant for which the Board has granted a right of first refusal to an incumbent.
- An incumbent provider who timely exercised a right of first refusal but was subsequently denied a project by the Board.
The deadline for submitting an appeal is Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. MST. The Board intends to initiate the appeals process at the next meeting on Thursday, April 6. All appellants are expected to have submitted all documents to be considered with their appeal. No new documentation will be accepted after this date.
