The Colorado Office of Policy, Research and Regulatory Reform is currently conducting a sunset review of the Colorado Broadband statute.  Analysis is performed to determine if statute regarding the Commission is necessary and should be continued, modified, or repealed. The Broadband Deployment Board, established by the Colorado General Assembly in 2014, provides grants through the Broadband Fund to deploy broadband service in unserved areas of the state.

January 17, 2023
The Winter 2023 Grant Cycle Applications were due on January 15. The comment period was scheduled to begin on January 16, however we experienced technical issues that prevented us from publishing all applications for the opening of the comment period. All applications are now posted to our website. Accordingly, we are extending the public comment/response period by one day.

Winter 2022 Grant Cycle: 

The Grant Application review and awarding of funds was completed in December 2022. All grant agreements are being finalized.


Winter 2023 Grant Cycle:

Applications for the Winter 2023 Grant Cycle will be due Sunday, January 15, 2023.
