Revised BEAD Grant Program
The Advance Colorado Broadband Grant Program funds broadband projects that improve or expand infrastructure or make access to high-speed internet affordable and easy to use for all Coloradans. Colorado is slated to receive $826.5 million from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) BEAD Program. BEAD will expand high-speed internet access by funding planning, infrastructure deployment and adoption programs across Colorado.
BEAD Program
Update: December 2, 2025 The State of Colorado is pleased to announce the acquisition of $420.6 million in federal BEAD (Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment) funding. These funds are earmarked for infrastructure expansion in rural and underserved regions, targeting high-speed access for over 96,000 currently unserved Coloradans. This initiative aligns with the administration’s commitment to achieve 99% statewide connectivity, providing the foundational infrastructure required for remote work, telehealth, and digital learning.
