Lauren is part of the Office of Information Technology Communications team dedicated to the Colorado Broadband Office. Lauren manages the marketing and communications for the Advance Colorado Broadband grant program, which the CBO will use to deploy millions in federal funding to broadband programs around the state. Lauren’s work will ensure stakeholders are well-informed and knowledgeable about all aspects of federal broadband funding opportunities through the CBO and share the stories of communities, people and projects that are making positive impacts.
Lauren started in April so she is a new addition to the growing CBO team. She has been in communications for 10+ years and has worked in a variety of industries including nonprofit, telecommunications, real estate, and hospitality industries.
Lauren lives in a full house with her husband, three kids, two dogs, and a bearded dragon. She loves everything and anything outdoors; watching kid’s sports, skiing, summer concerts, or sitting on a patio on a beautiful Colorado summer night. She’s a big Colorado Avalanche and Denver Broncos fan and spends every fall Sunday with family watching football and eating football food. If Lauren wasn’t working to bring Coloradans broadband, she’d either be an NFL reporter or run a specialty foods store because she can’t get enough Barefoot Contessa or Instagram foody videos!
