I moved to Denver about 20 years ago from Lima, Perú and obtained my BA in Psychology from the University of Denver. My passion is to work with and for communities that need support. When you engage people from the community and give them a voice it also gives them hope and has the power to lift them up as well as the community around them.  

I have worked for Denver Public schools in multiple roles for over a decade. During the pandemic, I saw the direct correlation between the lack of access to proper technology resources and the student’s performance and health. Now as the Community Engagement Specialist in the OIT department, I can better advocate for the Colorado communities that need better access to broadband and technology.
