As a GIS Technician on the broadband team, Collin processes provider data into digestible snippets. Collin maintains broadband data utilized to inform public and private sector users. Additionally, he assists in the design and implementation of the analysis of geospatial information to support broadband related goals including data quality assessment, the monitoring and reporting of broadband expansion, and identification of broadband availability and adoption relative to demographics or other information. 

Growing up in Minnesota, Collin gained an appreciation for natural resources. This led him down a path into environmental science where he stumbled upon GIS. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science with a minor in GIS from the University of Wisconsin - Stout.
