Winter 2022 Grant Cycle Funding Decisions
On Thursday, August 25, the Broadband Deployment Board (BDB) completed its application review for the Winter 2022 Grant Cycle. BDB decisions regarding applicant's ability to meet the Minimum Requirements for both the High-Cost Support Mechanism Funding and American Rescue Plan Act Stimulus Fund were posted on our website earlier today.

The Broadband Deployment Board (BDB) is working to conclude the Winter 2022 Grant Cycle Application Review process. The final BDB Application Review Meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 10 at 9 a.m.

Summer 2022 Grant Cycle Dates
The Broadband Deployment Board (BDB) has released the updated timelines for the Winter and Summer 2022 Grant Cycles. Thank you for your patience as we finalize our schedule. The application review for the Winter 2022 Grant Cycle will continue on July 12:
Winter 2022 Grant Cycle
The Broadband Deployment Board (BDB) would like to announce new dates for the Winter 2022 Grant Cycle Application Review Meetings. Thank you for your patience as we finalize our schedule. Application Review began on June 14 and 15, however the BDB was unable to complete the review at that time.
As stated in HB22-1306, signed on June 2 by Governor Polis, the Broadband Deployment Board (BDB):
On June 2, Governor Polis signed HB22-1306, which “updates the requirements for awarding grant money pursuant to the act to require that applications comply with finalized federal regulations regarding use of money under the [American Rescue Plan Act of 2021]”.
The Bill:
The Broadband Fund would like to announce the new dates for the Winter and Summer 2022 Grant Cycles. Due to additional delays in the Winter 2022 Grant Cycle, the Summer 2022 Grant Cycle dates have been pushed back.
The Summer 2022 Grant Cycle Introduction Webinar will take place on July 5, and applications are now due Friday, Sept. 2, 2022

Previously, the Broadband Deployment Board (BDB) identified geographic regions to be included in the RFP process, as required by HB21-1109. The Broadband Data Team has developed updated maps of each region. Please click the links below to view maps of each identified critically unserved area:
Unfortunately, the Broadband Deployment Board's application review meetings scheduled for June 1 and June 2 will be postponed due to board member availability. Once future dates are determined, the Broadband Fund staff will publish them and build out a revised timeline for both the Winter 2022 Grant Cycle and for the upcoming Summer 2022 Grant Cycle.
