As Senior IT Project Manager, Michael assists with the development and implementation of the broadband grant programs for the State of Colorado. His duties primarily focus on the coordination and facilitation of partnerships between our communities and broadband providers within the state of Colorado.
Michael has been with the Colorado Broadband Office (CBO) since August 2022. Prior to joining the CBO, he spent 33 years in many different roles as an individual contributor and leader within the telecommunications industry designing, implementing and supporting communications networks. He utilizes those skills to serve the communities of Colorado in achieving digital equity.
Growing up in a rural community of Texas, Michael understands why broadband connectivity is critical for rural communities to prosper and grow. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Texas A&M. (Gig’em Class of ’88)
